The 4-Week Intensive is held in the Summer Semester in the months of June, July, and August. The 4-Week Intensive is offered in 2 different sessions.

Summary of Full-Time Admissions Information & Procedures for The 4-Week Intensive Program
APPLICATION FEE
Enrollment in the Four-Week intensive requires a non-refundable application fee of $65. This is a one-time only fee, which applies to all full-time program applications. The application fee can be paid by selecting the payment link on our Full Time Admissions page.
AUDITIONING
An audition is required for all programs. Auditions may be taken in person, by sending an audio recording (no videos please), or by E-mail, via MP3, or zip files. Please review the audition requirements on our web site: www.thecoll.com. Available spots are limited, therefore, it is recommended that you send in your audition material as soon as you can.
TUITION/ DEPOSIT
The tuition for the Four-Week Intensive is $3,600. Once you are accepted to the program, a deposit of $900 is required to reserve your space. The balance of the program fee of $2,700 is payable by the first day of the program
PERSONAL EQUIPMENT
Drummers need only bring sticks, and bass & guitarists only their instruments. It is recommended that all students bring a personal metronome, headphones, and a recording device.
PROGRAM SUMMARY
Each Intensive program includes the following:
·a weekly reading class
·a weekly instrumental technique class
·six style-specific classes, including Jazz, Funk, Rock/R&B, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian, and Caribbean
·a weekly rhythm section with professional musicians.
·a weekly private lesson
·a daily individual practice time
Class sizes are limited to 5 students per two-hour classes. The time for larger or smaller classes is pro-rated according to enrollment.
