As a professional singer, Susan D has performed and/or recorded with Wilson Pickett, Spyro Gyra, Jennifer Hudson, Ronnie Spector, John Cale, David Byrne, J. Geils and Magic Dick, Enya, and many, many others.
She currently sings with her own band, the Susan D Band, as well as with Cracked Ice, and sings monthly with the prestigious Howard Williams Big Band.
Cracked Ice has played and appeared on stage for the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, taped at the Kennedy Center, for the past 3 of 4 years. Honorees for that show have included George Carlin, Tina Fey, and Will Ferrell. Susan has recorded numerous industrials, parodies, and jingles and has sung on soundtracks, including “Along Came Polly,” and “Hot Rod.” She is a published songwriter, her songs having appeared in soaps, including “The Young and the Restless” and “One Life To Live.”
