We’re excited to announce the next free event in our Collective Masters Live series, Ross Clark: Modern Session Guitar Work, on May 23rd at 6:00 PM! Clark has been one of the most in-demand guitars and producers in the NYC music scene for over a decade. After attending The New School for Jazz Studies, he’s gone on to perform and record with an eclectic variety of chart-topping artists.
In addition to his band St. Lucia, he’s played and collaborated with Moon Boots, The Knocks, Blu DeTiger, Viceroy, VHS Collection, Sofi Tukker, Spencer Ludwig, Questlove, Queen Naija, Wyclef Jean, Ghostface Killah, and Halsey. He’s performed on some of the biggest stages around the world, including Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Mainstage at Coachella, Lollapalooza, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Late Night with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers.
In his first Collective Masters Live, Clark will share the story of his career in the music business as a session musician and producer. Next, he’ll recreate his guitar part on one of the songs he recorded for The Knocks, including the post-production and re-sampling techniques he used.
Ross Clark: Modern Session Guitar Work is a free event for all musicians to attend in person at 28 Broadway, NYC or via the event live stream. Make sure to RSVP to reserve your seat and receive the link to the live stream!
