Steve has played both upright and electric bass professionally since 1976.
Steve’s credits include Rock, Jazz, Classical, Blues, Theater, World Music and Big Band ensembles, in which he has performed everywhere from CBGB’s to Lincoln Center. He currently plays regularly with the George Gee Big Band and the Sheiks, and has authored two books, The Zen of Bass and Developing Reading Skills for the Contemporary Bassist.
