Drum Performance Camp
6-9 PM – 1/23 to 1/27
The Drum Performance Camp is a one-week evening program designed to help drummers improve their technique and versatility in multiple genres and musical situations. The camp is held in person at our facility from 6:00 to 9:00 PM – perfect for intermediate drummers with jobs or school during the day who want to take their career from the practice room to the stage. Students will take Style Analysis, Reading, Drum Technique, and Ensemble Playing lessons. They will also get open practice time to hone new skills they picked up in class.
Drum Tech Camp
6-9 PM – 1/30 to 2/3
The Drum Tech Camp is a one-week evening program for drummers to learn how to integrate modern technology into their music. This in-person camp gives students access to our state-of-the-art facility, equipped with contemporary music production gear in addition to traditional instruments. Students will learn how to record drums and use Ableton Live to enhance their professional skill set. Learn how to mic a drum set and record drum tracks from home to collaborate with other musicians. Additionally, learn how to program beats and enhance your live shows using the industry-standard DAW Ableton Live. The camp is in the evenings from 6:00 to 9:00 PM to accommodate the schedules of drummers who work or attend class during the day.
Private study with Collective faculty members is available to local area students weekly, bi-weekly, or as-scheduled. The Collective’s practice and rehearsal facilities are also available on an hourly basis to “outside” clients.
