October 27, 2020, You’re invited to join The Collective LIVE online at 5pm EST as we proudly present a FREE hour-long clinic via Zoom on how to approach the stickings used in contemporary drumming styles from Collective alumnus Max Jurado!

Jurado is an Argentinian drummer spanning dozens of styles and sounds. Band leader of his popular Jazz Fusion project the Max Jurado Group, he has studied at The Collective and brought the skills he learned in New York to the prestigious Milan Conservatory in Cochabamba, Bolivia where he teaches drums and music history! Not only is Jurado a scholarly drummer, he has taken it upon himself to write the first-ever book about Argentinian drumming history called: Respeto al Tambor!

Thanks to the Collective’s new online remote learning initiatives, newcomers and alumni from around the world have been able to reconnect with The Collective on a daily basis, and bring our famous New York campus straight into their living rooms in real-time. Albeit by taking online private lessons with some of the incredible faculty or tuning into one of our free hour-long clinics with a featured faculty member, musicians are able to continue to pursue their goals and share amazing experiences together online through The Collective!

Now, The Collective is able to bring you an hour-long course curated by Jurado and hosted by Chris Bottone, where he will be focusing on the application of popular and unique stickings in contemporary styles of music, and how to optimize these techniques to get the best sound out of your kit! Jurado will perform, and even take a live Q&A session from the Live-Stream Chat! Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity, and be sure to keep updated on all Collective news and content by following us on social media: IG/Twitter @thecollectivenyc
