Gianni is one of the most popular teachers at The Collective with a vast knowledge of musical styles and concepts. He has been teaching Rock, Groove Mechanics and advanced concepts at the school such as Polyrhythms and odd-time studies for 14 years! Gianni has had plenty of notable achievements under his belt. In fact, you may have heard him play before, he is the drummer for the theme song for the award-winning TV show Spongebob Squarepants! Gianni has also played alongside the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and popular musical Rock of Ages. Jason is not only an acclaimed and popular player, but scholar and author as well. He is the co-author of the well-known Drummers Bible instructional book! With so much experience under his belt, we are more than excited to bring Gianni back to our free online clinic series this week!

Thanks to the Collective’s new online remote learning initiatives, newcomers and alumni from around the world have been able to reconnect with The Collective on a daily basis, and bring our famous New York campus straight into their living rooms in real-time. Albeit by taking online private lessons with some of the incredible faculty or tuning into one of our free hour-long clinics with a featured faculty member, musicians are able to continue to pursue their goals and share amazing experiences together online through The Collective!

Now, The Collective is able to bring you an hour-long course curated by Jason Gianni and hosted by Chris Bottone, where he will be focusing on developing groove material and working it into the structure of a song. Polyrhythms, Ghost-notes, stickings and more, Jason will be breaking down how to utilize these concepts by working/playing through original compositions! Gianni will even take a live Q&A session from the Live-Stream Chat! Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity, and be sure to keep updated on all Collective news and content by following us on social media: FB/IG/Twitter @thecollectivenyc
